1 cup pumpkin seeds, raw, unsalted (available here)

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Choose a sheet or tray that fits in the freezer. Place all ingredients, except chocolate chips and ground almonds, in a food processor and process until thick and blended. Add chocolate chips and pulse until mixed. Divide the mixture into 10 portions, and roll each into a ball. Place in the freezer for 1 hour until firm. Remove from freezer and roll in ground almonds. Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer for up to one month.

Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has only a few because they are added.
Butter tastes better than margarine and can enhance the flavors of foods.
Butter has been around for centuries. Margarine has been around less than 100 years.

Margarine:
Very High in Trans fatty acids.
Triples risk of coronary heart disease.
Increases total cholesterol and LDL (bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (good cholesterol)
Increases risk of cancers up to five times.
Lowers the quality of breast milk
Decreases the immune response.
Decreases the insulin response.
Margarine is ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC and shares 27 ingredients with PAINT.
Avoid anything hydrogenated (hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance).
Leave margarine open in your garage or shaded area and in a couple of days you will notice that no flies go near it and it does not rot or smell because it has no nutritional value. Nothing will grow on it.

Anti-Inflamatory Beet Detox Soup

2 cups chopped beets
1 cup chopped apple
2 cups chopped celery
2 cloves garlic, chopped

2 cups chopped carrots
4 cups vegetable broth OR chicken broth
2 tablespoons grated ginger
1 tablespoon fresh thyme OR 2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon pink rogray OR grey sea salt
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
2-3 cups unsweetened coconut beverage
Optional: 2 tablespoons dairy and nut-free pesto
Directions:

Add all ingredients, except coconut beverage, to a large pot.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes or until everything is very soft.
In a blender, process the soup with coconut beverage until smooth.
Top with pesto if desired.

Dandelion – A good source of calcium, iron and Vitamins A and C, dandelion is a diuretic and is noted for its detoxifying effects. Super Detox Juice
1 bunch of dandelion greens
½ bunch celery
½ bunch cilantro
1 cucumber with ends removed
1 lemon with peel removed
2 inches of fresh ginger root

Wash vegetables thoroughly and place in a large bowl. Juice each vegetable in this order – dandelion, cilantro, celery, ginger, cucumber, and lemon. Makes two 15 ounce servings. Sip slowly and drink with intention immediately after juicing. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 12 hours (Some live enzymes will be lost).

Parsley Tea contains immune-enhancing vitamins (C and A) and is a powerful antioxidant. Vitamin C, not only nourishes skin, it reduces scars and blemishes and stimulates the production of collagen, which is the key to cell reproduction and repair. Flat leaf (Italian) parsley is more fragrant and less bitter than the curly leafed kind. Drink this tea for a month and you may find your face was spotless.

Soak parsley in water with a splash of vinegar.
Wrap in a towel and store in the fridge.
Bring a small saucepan of filtered water to a boil.
Put ¼ cup of parsley in a cup or teapot.
Pour the boiling water on top, let steep for 5-6 minutes

Lemon Juice
Himalayan crystal salt

Squeeze the lemons into a glass. Add four teaspoons of salt to it.

Cayenne Salve

1/2 cup olive oil
2 heaping teaspoons of cayenne powder
1/2 ounce of beeswax
Double boiler
Cheesecloth

Begin by infusing the cayenne into the olive oil over a double burner.
Heat the oil and cayenne until it is warm, turn off the heat and let it sit (warmly) for about 20 minutes, then turn the heat on again. Do this for at least one hour to a couple of hours. Once the cayenne and olive oil have been infused, strain off the powder through cheesecloth. Reserve the infused oil. Heat the beeswax until it is melted. Stir in the infused oil until the beeswax and oil have been thoroughly melted together and combined.
Immediately pour this mixture into jars or tins. (Makes roughly 4 ounces).

Buddhist Health Recipe

Add 350 grams (10.5 ounces) of crushed garlic to a glass jar.
Pour over it 220-250 grams or 8 ounces of 95-96° alcohol, rum or other spirits
WARNING: The alcohol may not contain substances, like benzalkonium chloride or methanol.
Close the jar hermetically and place in the refrigerator for 10 days. On the 11th day filter it all with a very fine strainer or gauze.
The resulting liquid is poured into the same pot and placed another 2 days in the refrigerator.

After this period, the drops may be taken with some milk or water before starting to eat, as follows:
25 drops/ 3 times a day, until you finish the entire quantity.

How to use? warm the oil in a teaspoon help over a candle or stove-top burner. Warm only to body temperature (about room temperature). Use a dropper and apply 3-4 drops into the ear. Apply the warm oil every 30 minutes or as often as needed.

12 oz water kefir or kombucha

Place ingredients, except coconut oil into a blender. Puree until smooth. Slowly drizzle in the coconut oil until blended. Pour the mixture into the popsicle molds.
Place in freezer until firm.

Inflammation Juice

½ cup tea water
¼ teaspoon turmeric (dissolve)
¼ teaspoon raw honey (dissolve)
juice of ½ lemon.

Benefits: Turmeric holds more anti-inflammatory power than ginger, which is famous in this role. The raw honey acts as a sweetener and an anti-inflammatory agent and has anti-bacterial qualities. Lemon is an astringent to the body and packs its own anti-inflammation perks.

Candida

1 teaspoon fresh garlic juice (or 1 squashed/minced garlic)
1 drop of oil of oregano
juice of ½ lemon

Metabolism Boosting Spice & Herb Blend

Mix for 1 minute on high speed. Put it in a glass container and keep it in the refrigerator for five days. Take 2 teaspoons every morning before breakfast mixed in water or juice. Diluting makes it easy to take.

Recipe III

Chop a small onion and a few cloves of garlic and put them in a jar and fill the jar with honey. Let it sit for a couple of weeks. You can use the honey that becomes kind of thin and syrupy just to eat as is, with or without straining or add 2/3 cup of raw apple cider vinegar to 1/3 cup of the honey mixture that has been strained. Dilute 1 Tablespoon of the mixture in juice or water and drink every morning.

Heal-All Miracle Smoothie

1 cup organic raspberries
1 ripe banana
2 cups leafy greens of your choice (choose from butter leaf, romaine, kale, baby greens, sprouts, etc.)
2 ribs celery
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Quick Daily Liver Cleanse

2 granny smith apples
5 stalks celery
1 bunch kale
1 cucumber
2 lemons
2 inches ginger (with peel)

Raw apple cider vinegar

Fill a mason jar with garlic cloves and fill the jar with apple cider vinegar to cover the garlic completely. Place the jar in a warm place for 3-4 weeks. After 3-4 weeks, strain off the liquid. Set ½ the liquid aside to use in salad dressings, marinades or brine for refrigerator pickles?

Natural Detox and Immune Boosting Tonic

1 30 oz. bottle Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 cup chopped Garlic
1/4 cup Onions
1/4 cup Habanera peppers (or hottest peppers you can find)
1/4 cup grated Ginger
1/4 cup grated Horseradish
2 T Turmeric

Blend ingredients together for a couple of minutes. Strain and pour liquid back into bottle. Compost everything else! Store the tonic in a cupboard for long periods of time. No need to keep in the refrigerator. You can use it mixed with olive oil for a salad dressing or add to stir-fry.

For sore throat, gargle a bit in the mouth and swallow.
For an illness, such as a cold or flu take a Tablespoon every couple of hours.

1 cup unsweetened 100% cranberry juice
7 cups purified water
½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
¾ Cup fresh squeezed orange juice (approx 3 oranges)
¼ Cup fresh squeezed lemon juice (approx1-2 lemons)

Bring water to a boil; add cranberry juice, reduce heat to low and add cinnamon, ginger, & nutmeg, stir and let simmer for 20 minutes; let it cool down to room temperature. Stir in orange & lemon juices…add ice and enjoy!
