Apples in the attic, apples in the hall,
Apples in the summer, Apples in the fall,
Apples make you healthy. Apples make you tall.
I will eat some apples,
I will eat them all!

Apple Magic
By Margaret Hillart

In every single apple lies
A truly magical surprise.
Instead of slicing down,
slice through
And watch the star
appear for you!

The Apple Tree

Away up high in an apple tree
Two red apples smiled at me
I shook that tree as hard as I could
Down came those apples and mmm were they good for me!

PICKING APPLES

Picking Apples (can be sung to the tune of Frere Jacques)
Picking apples, picking apples,
‘Til we’re done, ’til we’re done,
Picking all the apples, picking all the apples,
‘Til we’re done, til we’re done.

Climb a ladder, climb a ladder,
In a tree, in a tree
Hello, everybody; Hello, everybody,
Look at me, look at me.

Making applesauce, making applesauce
Swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish
Pouring the applesauce, pouring the applesauce
In a dish, in a dish.

Eating applesauce, eating applesauce,
Yum, yum, yum; yum, yum, yum.
Eating all the applesauce, Eating all the applesauce.
Now we’re done, now we’re done.

Johnny Appleseed Song

Oh, the Lord is good to me, and so I thank the Lord
For giving me the things I need: The sun, and the rain, and the apple seed;
The Lord is good to me.

For every seed I sow an apple tree will grow,
And there will be apples there, enough for the whole wide world to share;
The Lord is good to me.

A-P-P-L-E
(to be sung to B-I-N-G-O)
I know a fruit that grows on trees
An apple is its name oh

An apple is its name oh
In summer and in early Fall
It’s time to pick an apple

It may be sweet or may be tart
It’s red, or green, or yellow

Five Red Apples

Five red apples in a grocery store
Bobby bought one and then there were 4
Four red apples on an apple tree
Susie ate one and then there were 3
Three red apples. What did Alice do?
Why she ate one and then there were 2
Two red apples ripening in the sun
Tommy ate one, and now there was one
One red apple and now we are done
I ate the last one and now there are none!

Eat an Apple

Eat an apple; (Bring right hand to mouth)
Save the core. (Close right hand in fist)
Plant the seeds. (Bend down touch hand to ground)
And grow some more. (Extend both arms)

I went to the orchard and what did I see?
A big red apple on an apple tree.
The wind came “whoosh” and blew all around,
And then the red apple fell to the ground.

I picked up the apple, and took a bite.
Mmmmm, it was good, so juicy and white.
I ate and I ate, and I ate it all up.
But I saved the seeds in my little green cup.

The tiny little apple seed was planted in the ground,
Down came the rain, falling all around.
Out came the sun, as bright as bright can be,

Apple Roll Chant

5 little apples in the bowl
1 fell out and started to roll
It bumped the table and hit my feet!
How many apples are left to eat?
4 little apples in the bowl…
Then 3, 2, 1 little apple in the bowl.

Picking Apples

Pick the apples, put them in your basket,
Pick the apples, put them in your basket,
Pick the apples, put them in your basket,
Way down yonder in the apple orchard.

APPLES
by Helen H. Moore

Apples, apples, what a treat,
sweet and tart and good to eat.
Apples green and apples red,
hang from branches overhead,
and when they ripen, down they drop,
so we can taste our apple crop.
