Myricetin, a flavonoid found in parsley, has been shown to help prevent skin cancer. Apigenin, a natural chemical found in parsley, decreases tumor size in an aggressive form of breast cancer.

Myricetin can lower blood sugars and decrease insulin resistance; it appears to provide anti-inflammatory effects and reduce excess fat from the blood.

Low intakes of vitamin K are associated with a higher risk of bone fracture. Adequate vitamin K consumption (which parsley provides in ten sprigs) improves bone health by acting as a modifier of bone matrix proteins, improving calcium absorption, and reducing urinary excretion of calcium.

Parsley Tea contains vitamins C and A and is a powerful antioxidant. Vitamin C nourishes skin, reduces scars and blemishes and stimulates the production of collagen, the key to cell reproduction and repair. Italian parsley is more fragrant and less bitter than curly leafed. Drink this tea for a month and find your face spotless.
